February 2014 Club Race
Once again my home track Capitol City Raceway put on a world-class event. I had so much fun racing Sunday. My qualifier only lasted 2 laps as I had technical difficulties. The 2nd qualifier was probably my best. The 3rd I flamed out 30 secs from the end. I ended up qualifying 8th out of the 9 racers in the A main. This was one of the strangest A mains I have ever been in. I kept flaming out and my pitman had to come restart my car at least 6 times. That is how my 30 min A main started. We ended up raising the idle I was able finish the race. But not before losing my tire and foam insert. I ran on the rim for almost half a lap. My pitman managed to top me off and change my wheel in record time. Some how I manage to finish 6th place. This A main also included a race between the two pit men for the 1st and 2nd place drivers as both ran out of gas with less than 30 sec to go. Congrats to (2nd)Chris Giraldo and (1st)John Brenard Jr. I had the hardest working pitman at the track to day not only was he my pitman, he also was turn marshaling . Thank you Allan Dullivan. I would like to thank Beta Tires, and Hobby Pro for their support.
