The 5th round of the Chaos on the Coast Point Series at Space Coast R/C has finished! The track was in excellent conditions as always.

In my 1st qualifier I placed 3rd. Had a great battle with 2nd place finishing less that 2 tenths behind him. The 2nd qualifier I placed 3rd again & again kept 2nd place very close to me finishing a little less than a second behind him. My 1st qualifier was my best over all and I ended up starting 3rd in the A-Maim. At the start of the main, I made a small mistake that allowed 1st & 2nd to to get a little distance on me. I was able to recover and worked my way up to the bumper of 2nd. A mistake by the second place truck gave me an opportunity to make a pass but I wasn't going to be able to make it clean & it caused me to lose a little time. With the time I lost I ended up in 3rd place on the podium. Still a great finish for the day, just wish I had 1 more lap to run 2nd place down.... This finish as well as the past finishes of last 3 weeks ans moved me into 2nd place in the point series with a 10 point lead with 1 race remaining.

Overall I had a great race. I've been able to make improvements every race day and I'm slowly able to keep up and in some cases pass the fast guys in my class. I pretty much have my setup locked down and only need to fine tune my shock settings & tires. I had such a great day at SPRC and can’t speak highly enough about the facility & the staff.
