- All 21.5/17.5/13.5 entries must use ROAR approved ESCs & motors. ESCs must be in "blinky" mode. We reserve the right to tech any car for minimum weight, battery voltage & stator impedance at any given time.
- All 21.5 Spec & 17.5 Privateer 2WD Buggy drivers must not have any RC sponsors
- All 21.5 Spec 2WD Buggy drivers must use either the Hobbywing XERUN Justock 3650 SD G2.1 or REDS VX 540 (1st gen) motors. These motors are relatively cheap & work great at our track. We will set the timing on the REDS motor to 14,000 RPM @ 8.4 volts & mark the timing screws so we can tech them randomly to keep the class fair & competitive. This is NOT a handout motor class, but we will try to have some of these motors in stock in case you need additional motors. Please contact us on our Facebook page if you have more questions about this class or motor rules.
- Traction compounds are allowed at The RC Compound, but use please use common sense when it comes to smell.
- Friday October 4th: Controlled practice from 12-9. $5 per driver on Friday.
- Saturday October 5th: Doors open at 8:30am. Practice from 9-11am. Racing at 11:30 & then 3 rounds of IFMAR qualifiying. Your best 2 of 3 rounds count towards the mains.
- Sunday October 6th: Doors open at 8:30am. All mains will be ran on Sunday starting at 9am. Lower mains are 5 minutes each, & A Mains are 7 minutes long. The top 2 finishers in each lower main will transfer to the next highest main.
- Each A main consists of 8 cars. The top 6 are locked into the A based on qualifying & the number 7 & 8 drivers bump up from lower mains.
- Awards will be provided to the TQ & top 8 per class. No awards for lower mains.
- Please signup here at RCSignUp.com, but pay for your race fees when you come to the track that weekend. This race is limited to 70 drivers or 200 entries depending on how signup goes.
- To earn the special Sportsmanship Award a racer must go above and beyond at this event to help with the race program, their fellow drivers, or a combination of both. The RC Compound event staff will determine who receives this special award on Sunday once the racing is done.
- On Saturday we will hold our HUGE raffle thanks to our many generous event sponsors!!!!
