2019 Midwest Carpet Shootout presented by Spektrum
Event Information
This will be the Inaugural Event held at Old 51 Raceway. We will have open practice April 5 Noon till 10pm, then controlled practice April 6 7-9am. We will be using Ifmar Qualifying. Depending on entries we will be running 3 heats with Double 7min Amains. Top 5 + 2 bump ups. Top 5 Amain and Tq will get plaques.
Tire selection is Open Rubber Tire, and a seperate Foam 2wd Buggy Class. All tires must be clean of dirt.
Tire Sauce is Track Mandated SXT 3.0
There is also 5 loaner sct trucks at $15 for race day
There will be a 50/50 drawing as well with the proceeds going towards a special Dash for Cash to the Top 5 Qualifiers for the top 2 classes in entries.
The track will have a new track installed the week of the race.
This is a unique track location offering bowling, arcade, full food and open bar.
Most importantly lets have fun and go racing!

Days inn in Salem Illinois which is roughly 15 from the track will be offering a racer discount of 47.95 for the nights of the race. Just call and tell them attending the race and they will book any size room for you at that price.
