The 3rd Annual Canadian RC Off Road Championships is back … The dates are set … Now it’s time for everyone to book their summer vacations!!! This year’s event is going to be bigger and better then ever before … you won’t want to miss this one! Last year we saw Factory Team drivers like Schumacher’s own Tom Cockerill fly all the way from England along with Lee Martin from Tamiya. Team Associated drivers Scott Brown and Michael Schoettler were also in attendance from the United States! From Canada we had Tamiya Canada’s top drivers featuring Steve Bortolotti, Tom Wright, Abiye Birku, Joe Glover and crew, Team Losi’s own Dave Henry and Of course Team Schumacher Canada’s entire team Mihai Gutuescu, Billy Sutton, Jake Solt & Matt Stacey. This year we will be featuring the same format as the ROAR Nats we hosted this past October. Qual points and triple A Mains. The track has been extended by adding an additional 5 feet in length bring the total track to 135’ x 72’. All clay and with the help of our friends at M&B Ford Construction, who brought the latest development in clay tracks, the track conditions remain consistent and do not change during the entire event. The track is also completely sheltered from the elements by a massive tent! Keeps all of the rain out and keeps the sun from drying out the track! We use Sutton Aviation’s aircraft maintenance hangar for indoor pit space. The pit area is 80’ x 60’ state of the art lighting and plenty of power for everyone! Pit tables and chairs all supplied by the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum! We are located on the beautiful Rockcliffe Airport, directly across the airfield from the Canadian Aviation & Space Museum and minutes from downtown Ottawa. Local area hotels, shopping nightlife are all within minutes from the track! The BBQ Breakfest will be served on Saturday and Sunday mornings again this year! Also Tony’s full course BBQ Pit will be open for all 3 days!
