Event Information

SOUTHERN INDIANA OFF-ROAD RC RACING

Race Heats and Mains

Everyone must sign the waiver before being on the property.

All Heats will be 5min long
Novice Mains will be 5min long
1/10th Mains will be 10min long
1/8th Mains will be 15min
The best time in your Heats is how you will start at the line up
Points will be awarded as you place in the Main. If there is a tie then the
fastest lap time will be used.
Any DNF's will be considered last place, if there are more than 1 then the
least amount of laps in will be
last. If there are more than 1 with the same # of laps then it will go by best lap
time.
There must be 2 cars in a class in order to race that class. If there is only 1
racer, 10 Points will be awarded to the 1 racer.
Warmup / Practice will be from 9 to 10:30am
Heat Races start at 11am
Mains will follow Heats after all Heat races are complete.
3 class maximum
$10 entry fee for 1st class, $5 entry fee for additional classes.
After your race you will be needed as course Marshalls for the next race. If
you are racing back to back you will need to have someone Marshall for you.
$10 fee for Money Class which is an all open run anything but nothing bigger
than an 1/8th scale. 1st place takes 80%, 2nd place takes 15% and 3rd place takes
5% of the total money class entries.

OPEN 1/10 4WD BUGGY INFO / RULES Open 4WD Buggy The Modified 4WD Buggy division is for advanced/expert racers who wish to run 4-wheel drive buggies with modified motors for the most challenging and fastest divisions of racing at the track. The rules for this class are: Chassis: Any 1/10th off-road 4-wheel drive buggy style chassis. Motor: Any brushless motor. Generally this class will be 10.5T motors and lower. Batteries: 6-cell NiMH batteries, or 2 or 3-cell Li-Poly batteries Tires: TBD Bodies: Any 4WD buggy body intended for the class.	5 min	10 min	10 min	5 min	5 min	4 min
