Reedy is pleased to announce the 2020 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions will continue for a sixth consecutive year at OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, CA from January 23-26, 2020.

At the top of many racers’ must attend list, the atmosphere and intensity of the race draws spectators and fans from around the world to participate and spectate.

In 2019, 2x IFMAR World Champion Jared Tebo won his first Invitational title, while Arizona based, X-Ray driver Tommy Hinz translated many open class a-mains in to the elusive 2wd Open title while Team Associated’s SoCal based racer, Ron DeVoll won the 4wd Open class. All three racers will return to compete in the Invitational class and try to become the 26th name carved on the Mike Reedy Heritage Trophy.

Entries for the 2020 Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions open on September 1, 2019 at noon, PST exclusively on www.rcsignup.com and close September 30, 2019 at midnight, PST. The lottery drawing for the open class will be conducted on October 1, 2019. As in previous years, the event features its traditional 2WD Open and 4WD Open classes along with the combined 2WD/4WD Invitational format.

To allow everyone an opportunity to be a part of the 26th running of the Reedy Race, a lottery drawing for the Open class will be conducted on October 1st for the 100 available positions. Open class drivers who made the a-mains in the 2019 event, along with minimal event sponsor exemptions and lower ranked Invitational drivers will be guaranteed a spot in the open classes. This amounts to approximately 20 drivers. Entry fees are only collected after the lottery drawing and for the selected Open and Invitational drivers. Remember, included with the $200 entry fee for each confirmed and paid entry is a complete set of control tires and inserts for both vehicles along with a personalized grab bag from the event sponsors. Drivers who are qualified for the Invitational class are the only ones who should register for the Invitational class. Drivers who are qualified for the Invitational class will be announced after the IFMAR World Championships in mid-September. As always, only the top qualified drivers will be selected to compete in the ultra-competitive Invitational class, however all qualified drivers are guaranteed a position in the Open Class.

REEDY RACE REFUND POLICY

- Paid Entrants selected in the lottery drawing may receive a full refund for their paid entry up to the lottery payment deadline of October 31, 2019

-Paid Entrants wishing to transfer their entry to next person on the waiting list may do so without penalty through November 30, 2019.

- Between December 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019, 50% of the paid entry may be refunded and the next person on the waiting list will be given the open spot.

-No refunds will be given after January 1, 2020, however the Entrant will still receive the grab bag of items.
