Welcome to the G.O.R.C.S - Georgia Off-Road Championship Series! This will be the premier 1/8th Off Road racing series dedicated to the GA racers. This series is traveling to some of Georgia oldest/longest running tracks in the state. Round 4 will be held at the most awesome HCRCR --------Event info------ The events will be a one day program, Friday practice, Saturday Race. The goal is to start early, leave early, so be prepared to race early on SAT! Track will open Friday morning, and open practice will start at 10AM! Controlled practice will start at 4pm unless line develops early. Control Practice will be done in 5 minute intervals with one min switch out. Control practice will go until 10PM! Friday sign ups are from 6PM-10PM (please sign up Friday). Race day starts EARLY, track will be open for CONTROLLED practice from 6:30-7:30AM. Race day sign ups are from 6AM-7:15AM) (please register on Friday if possible). Drivers meeting at 7:40AM! Q1 starts at 8AM sharp! Our program here at the GORCS will be run like a machine. Our goal for the series is to be wrapped up by 9PM, NO MORE LATE NIGHTS! -----By the numbers----- Here at the GORCS we want to provide you with a flexible program that NO one is left in the dark on race day changes! Keeping everything in PRINT, so everyone knows whats going on! (Rule/Schedule book coming out ASAP). The length and amount of qualifiers depends on entree totals and weather. 2-3 qualifiers will be run. heat length will be between 5min-7min depending on how many qualifiers/entrees run. -----more info------- ROCKET ROUND QUALIFYING, PERIOD. Pro Nitro is only Pro class because it pays out EVERY main. Take the money if you win your lower main or take the bump! So if you finish top 3 in a lower main your either getting the bump or some money! (ex= if 1st place winner of B-main wants the bump into the A-main for better points and not the money, then 2nd place B-main gets the option of money or Bump, If then the 2nd place B-main driver wants to take the money instead of the bump, then 3rd place B-main gets the bump into the A-main (You choose either the money or the bump, not both). 1st Place A-main = $300. 1st place lower mains =$200. (ONLY FOR PRO NITRO BUGGY). We are the only series in the south that it pays to race PRO CLASS! Everyone who races PRO gets a chance to win big (must be full 10-12 car main to qualify for payout). Expert E-buggy is called expert because its non-payout class (only PRO Nitro pays out at these events). -----Series info----- Series points. 200 sliding scale. 3 points per position. 1 point for TQ. -best 3 out of 4 races (1 drop).
