***2017 JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals***
Event Information
The 2017 JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals are back at R/C Excitement! This will be our 8th year holding this Event. This is one of those bucket list races that you should at least attend once. This will be my 6th year racing and my 4th year as Race Director. Every year I get to meet new drivers and see old friends I have not seen in a year. I would say my favorite part is watching how the young drivers improve and mature over the years. Alex K., is one of those drivers. I remember the first Fall Nats he raced at, now a few short years later he is one of the Pros fighting for the win. Jason Ruona, Alex K., Dustin Evans, Damon Borkowicz (another young gun to watch) and J.R. Mitch are already confirmed to attend. For an added Bonus we have Alex Valdes bringing his signature style to the announcers booth. This will be Alex’s 3rd year in the booth and he brings a very entertaining and energetic voice to the racing. Thomas Tran will be providing online coverage for the entire Event as well. With all the door to door racing, the Pros, Thomas and Alex this will be one of the big races of the years. Entries are limited so sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot for what is sure to be an epic race. –Ed
Event Schedule: Thursday October 5 Doors open at 12 noon Driver Check-In / Open Practice. 7:00 PM Thursday Night Club Race, Friday October 6 Doors open at 10am Driver Check-In / Practice 10am-5:45pm, 6:00 PM Drivers Meeting 6:30 PM Seeding practice. 3 minute sessions by heats, best 3 consecutive laps seeds you to a qualifier. Saturday October 7 Doors open at 7am 2 minute shakedown practice 7am - 7:45am Qualifying starts at 8am through 2 Qualifiers, we will start a 3rd round if time allows. Sunday October 8 Doors open at 6:30am NO PRACTICE Remainder of 3rd round starts at 7am Raffle after qualifiers then the mains. We will be running triple A mains for 2wd and 4wd Mod Buggies.
