2015 BGRC Summer Smackdown
Event Information
- JConcepts is the Platinum sponsor for this inaugural race. They will be flying in Dave Duncan from Florida to provide product support during this event, plus they are donating door prizes, & providing each racer with a FREE JConcepts event t-shirt (while supplies last).
- MB2 Raceway Iowa is the Gold sponsor of this year's race. The 2nd place finisher in all the A Mains will win 2 FREE race passes. During all 4 rounds of qualifying, the 2nd place overall qualifier in each class will also receive 1 FREE race pass. Along with that, the first 50 paid entries will receive a Buy One Get One race voucher, plus ALL paid racers for this event will receive a $5 off race coupon.
- X Factory is the official sponsor of the Stock 2WD Buggy & Stadium Truck classes. The highest finishing unsponsored drivers in both classes will receive a FREE Infinity carbon fiber chassis for the Team Associated B5M or T5M, which is a $99 value each.

- R17 Racing is the official sponsor of the Mod 4WD Buggy class. They will be donating some great door prizes, plus if the winner of the Mod 4WD Buggy class is using one of their popular chassis protectors then that driver will take home $50 cash.
- CowRC is giving away a special Sportsmanship award for this race, plus some great door prizes. The award is a custom Cow RC jumbo (24" x 30") magnetic pit with matching vinyl valued at approximately $125. To earn this award a racer must go above & beyond at this year's Summer Smackdown, & the winner will be determined by the BGRC crew that weekend.
- All stock entries must use an ESC in blinky mode. The Trinity D3.5 17.5 & 13.5 is not allowed.

- Friday is controlled practice, Saturday is 3 rounds of IFMAR qualifying, Sunday is a last chance qualifier, door prizes, then all of the mains.
- The A Mains will consist of 8 cars + 2 bumps from lower mains. Each A main is 8 minutes & all lower mains are 5 minutes.
- All classes will receive awards for TQ & the top 10 in the A Mains.
- On Sunday we will hold a huge raffle for a ton of giveaways thanks to all of our generous sponsors listed below!!!
