Spec 4Tec Rules

This is NOT a handout tire class. Bring your own legal tires. Tires will be available for sale at the track.

Vehicle:

• Traxxas 4Tec 2.0 with Brushed Motor and XL-5 ESC
• The car should remain in stock configuration
• Transmitter, Receiver and Servo may be changed
• Gearing may be chaged
• Oils may be changed
• Traxxas tuning springs are allowed
• No other modifications are allowed

Minimum Weight

• No minimum weight rule.
• Receiver box may be removed.
• No other alterations to decrease weight are permitted
• Ballast weights are allowed and must be securely mounted to the car

Minimum Ride Height

• 5mm Chassis & Body.

Motor

• Stock Traxxas Titan 12-Turn Brushed Motor
• Motor leads may be changed
• Absolutely no other changes to the motor allowed

ESC

• Stock Traxxas XL-5 ESC
• Battery connector may be changed

Battery

• Any hardcase 2S LiPo or Traxxas LiPo battery
• No visible defects, extreme puffing, cracked case, etc
• Max charge voltage is 8.40v

Body

• GT & VTA style bodies only
• No LMP, Touring Car, or other Prototype bodies
• Must be a licesed replica, or closely modeled for a production passenger car

Tire

• Gravity RC USGT Tires or Stock Traxxas 4Tec Tires only
• Belted or Non-Belted Allowed
• Stock Traxxas 4Tec Tires must be mounted on the stock wheels
• USGT tires may be mounted on any 24-26mm wheel. Must use inserts provided with the tires
• SXT 3.0 Traction Compound Only
