Box Stock:

Unlike our club races, anyone can enter, even those that have graduated to expert box stock previously.

Motor: 

You must use the motor that came with your RTR kit: either Kyosho MZ9P or MZ9E Motor from RTR, You must keep the capacitor that came installed on your motor.

Chassis: 

Kyosho MR03S, MR03S2 and MR03 RWD

Wheels: 

Use the wheels that came with your kit or you can use aftermarket wheels which must have the same offset as the originals (for that body). Must be 20mm diameter maximum.

Front 8.5mm x 20mm

Rear 8.5mm x 20mm or 11mm x 20mm

Tire: 

Any rubber tire made by a 1/28 scale manufacturer can be used. Example: Marka, PN racing, Kyosho

Traction Compounds NOT allowed on tire or on race surface. 

Electronic & Transmitter: 

Must use the original Kyosho radio or can use Flysky NB4 or Futaba 4PM with FHSS module

Gear Ratio: 

Must use 6 tooth pinion and stock gear differential 

Bodies:

90mm to 102mm Body: body must be Kyosho original AutoScale body or Kyosho unpainted white body,

NO lexan or lightweight windows allowed

Cannot use 3D printed parts, e.g. wings

Batteries: 

Any NiMH AAA battery allowed 

Expert Box Stock:
Typically this class is meant experienced racers only and you must have won A-main 1st place 3 times in the Box Stock class or recognized as needing to move 
up from Box Stock during our club racers .... however this class is open to all racers provided you meant the specifications below:

Motor:

All 3d parts not allowed except for wings. Must be same size as original Kyosho wing.

Option Parts and upgrades allowed:
1. Kyosho or aftermarket ball bearing like MC3 or PN Ball Bearing allowed
2. Kyosho or aftermarket wheel nuts allowed
3. T-Plate upgrade allowed: can be PN or Kyosho. It must be the same as the original RTR kit.
4. Reverse king pin modification allowed.

5. Can change front springs (e.g. Kyosho or PN Racing)
6. Can use MC3-WLS Dual-Spring Magnetic Center Shock. Can use original Kyosho spring shock that came with 
the RWD/Sports kits
Kyosho oil shock or PN dual spring shock or other brand shock not allowed.
7. Can use any plastic Kyosho toe-bar (MZW402)
8. Can use Kyosho or Reflex or PN racing aluminum knuckle if original plastic has broken
9. Can shim kingpins or motor mount

Open 2WD Touring

Chassis:
Any 1:28 scale chassis but must be 90-102mm Wheel Base ONLY, No weight limit.
Body:
Can use Touring car body or pan car body. Can use plastic hard body like Kyosho or Jomeura or Lexan (polycarbonate). 

There is a limit on rear wing size. Maximum wing size not bigger than original wing cutting line. #600630 PN Carbon 
Wing and #600640 Lexan Wing allowed.
Motor:
Any 1:28 scale motor allowed: brushless or brushed. Sensored or sensorless.
ESC:
Any 1:28 scale ESC allowed. Can be sensored or sensorless.
Battery:
Any battery allowed (AAA NiMH, 2S LiPo, AAA Li-Ion) but maximum of 8.4 volt.
Option Parts:
Any aftermarket brand Mini-Z production parts allowed.
Homemade parts, 3D print option parts and prototype parts are allowed. HOWEVER, if they are found to be dangerous 
to the track surface or to other cars, your car maybe disqualified if you don't remove the offending part.
Wheel:
All brand Plastic and Aluminum rims are allowed. Maximum front wheel width is 11mm. Maximum rear wheel width is 
14mm. Maximum wheel diameter is 21mm. All wheel rims must be original design made for Mini-Z RACER, any 
modification is not allowed, any slot-car design wheel is NOT allowed.
Tire:
Any Brand of Rubber Mini-Z production tire ONLY.
Homemade tires, Foam tires, Silicon tires, Urethane tires, Ethyl Carbamate tires NOT allowed. No tire insert 
use. Traction compounds NOT allowed on tire or on race surface.

Kyosho hard body F1, MC3 Lexan F1 body, GLF Lexan F1 body or 3D printed body to proper scale to fit 1:28 chassis.

Motor:

Any 1:28 scale motor allowed: brushless or brushed. Sensored or sensorless.

ESC:

Any 1:28 scale ESC allowed. Can be sensored or sensorless.

Battery:

Any battery allowed (AAA NiMH, 2S LiPo, AAA Li-Ion) but maximum of 8.4 volt.

Touring car body only. Must use Kyosho plastic hard body.

No lexan body allowed.

Only stock wing allowed or 3D printed equivalent. 

Motor:

Any 1:28 scale motor allowed: brushless or brushed. Sensored or sensorless.

ESC:

Any 1:28 scale ESC allowed. Can be sensored or sensorless.

Battery:

Any battery allowed (AAA NiMH, 2S LiPo, AAA Li-Ion) but maximum of 8.4 volt.
