Hows it going everyone ? We would like to announce that there will be a Mini Rock Crawling Competition happening on May 9th. We will have 2 course to run through. Start time 9:00am 4:00 pm or till everyone has gotten there runs in . Tech will start at sign up . Admission $15 for your first entry $10 for your second . One truck per person per class . The main course will be open for use for 1/10th scale trucks as well. Crawling COMP Rules Stock class Allowed items 2s lipo only Plastic links only . Upgraded servo can use metal steering link . 1" wheels only. Any type Stock chassis . Stock length shocks HR is ok but stock configuration. Stock plastic axles . Over drive is ok . Can upgrade tranny to metal gears and case . Metal drive shafts . And brass added for weight . Let’s be honest they need it ?????. Must have stock body ????. Must have brushed motor no brushless .. MOD Class Allowed items 2-3s lipo Stock, 3D printed, and machined wheels and items allowed in mod but limited to 1.2” tire and smaller . Metal axles Modified Hr shocks or carisma shocks . Metal drive shafts Tube cages 3d printed or metal . Upgraded servo . Any esc and motor set up is fine . Shared rules. 1/24 scale rigs ONLY! Must have Truck, Jeep, or Car bodies and must appear to be 1/24 scale. Both classes must have a scale truck type chassis . Steel ( mod class only ) steel,Carbon fiber or plastic . NO dig function allowed . NO 4 wheel steering . Gates Will be (6”-7” ) wide and chalked and or spiked in place . This will be timed. TBD (see below) Points will be given for every infraction. The less points you finish with the better. Reverse : +1 will count if your tire rolls one complete turn backwards . No jockeying back and forth it will count . Gates +10 are always live till hit . Then the one gate hit is dead and the other half is still live . Touch : +10 intentional or not by driver or spectator . Rollover +5 like it was being rolled like a real car with a winch cable keeping two tires on the ground at all times . Side to side only NOT end to end or it is a reposition . Winch .+5 bungee cord is allowed. (See Bungee below) Per use when in use and moved to another location . (No using your foot for a bungee cord assist point.) Reposition +10 Time stops & the truck is moved back to last gate progressed. Then time restarts . Course direction +10 wrong direction threw a live Gate. Automatic reposition only course direction penalty .. No penalty for repair on or off course . Including battery changes . (Must put the truck back at the previous gate progressed after repair or battery change .) Boundary marker or Out of Bounds +10 hit or rolled into .boundaries are always live in between flags or posts . Assist penalties +2 & +3 Details below: Sand ladders +2 No holding the sand ladders in place . Bungee Ropes +3 Per use or anchor point no using your foot or hand as an anchor . DNF (Did Not Finish): (+400pts) are given anytime a driver cannot complete a course for any reason. Plus penalties acquired on course . (Timed-Out, Point-Out, Vehicle not Repairable, Went Home …etc) to help break up the scores easier There are no scale points for any class at this time .
